I made the right choice in joining the DataU programme. The course equipped me with both the technical & soft skills to be the best data scientist. I particularly appreciate the soft skills training and noticed a significant improvement in my self-discipline, time management, decision-making and so on. Now, I have a great job at one of Cambodia's top companies and I'm ready to apply the skills I learned to both my personal and professional life.

Data related skills — just like any other disciplines, is a very fast paced and ever growing community. My journey with DataU started with the sole intention of not to learn it all but to develop a habit of continuous learning out of all the fundamental courses during the training and that taught me more than enough to thrive for the best at any industry.

I found the business case and projects that I did at the end of the course with my teammates were practical and correlated to my current work in multiple ways. These were applied when I did the project at my workplace. I would say the initial task that I need to do as a data specialist is to understand the problem and objective of the study before I can proceed with the data analysis and model building. When I found the key insights, the next step is storytelling, which is one of the soft skills I learn at DataU Academy. This skill strengthens my presentation skill as I am able to convey my analysis in a simplified terms to broader audiences.
