Full-Stack Specialist

Full-Stack DataU Specialist

Become a future Data + AI leader.

Six-month hybrid program — SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, ML, and a placement-ready capstone. 200+ hours. Tuition quoted after interview.

Cohort-based

You move through the program alongside the same group — shared deadlines, peer accountability, and a real community instead of a solo video queue.

Project-based

The last two months turn everything you learned into one real, portfolio-ready capstone project — not a multiple-choice final.

Instructor-led

1:2:1 coaching throughout, not just pre-recorded lessons — a real instructor reviewing your work and unblocking you.

About the program

Full-Stack DataU Specialist is the flagship hybrid program for career switchers and early-career professionals who want the full data stack — not a single tool certificate.

Four months of instructor-led core training (SQL & warehouses, Power BI, Python, data science & ML, advanced Excel), then two months on a real capstone with CV polish, interview prep, and 1:2:1 coaching.

Prefer to go modular first? Take individual courses such as Advanced Excel, Power BI, Intro Python, Intensive Python, or Data Engineering — then apply to the Specialist when you are ready for the full program.

How admission works

Five steps to a seat

Selective on purpose. We want people who understand the commitment, can show a real profile, and are ready to talk goals — not a one-click checkout.

  1. 1

    Understand the program

Read the syllabus, outcomes, and time commitment before you apply.

  2. 2

Apply with your profile and CV

Submit the form — name, contact, motivation, and CV if you have one.

  3. 3

    15–30 min online interview

Meet a DataU team member to discuss skills and goals. Book after you apply.

  4. 4

    Offer and deposit

If you are a fit, we email an enrollment offer with tuition and deposit details.

  5. 5

    Await kick-off

Your seat is held for the next term start. We send kick-off details closer to day one.

After you apply we email a booking link for cal.com/datau-academy/meeting (15–30 min). Optional placement tests in math, English, Excel, and SQL do not block admission — they can strengthen your application.

Frequently asked

How long is the program?+

Six months hybrid. Guided instruction, labs, and coaching add up to 200+ hours — not 960 calendar hours of video. The last two months are the capstone.

How does admission work?+

Read the syllabus, apply with your profile and CV, then book a 15–30 minute online interview with a DataU team member. If you are a fit we email an enrollment offer and deposit details; you then await the next term kick-off. Short placement checks in math, English, Excel, and SQL will be added to this process soon.

What does the program cost?+

Tuition is not listed as a fixed public price — admissions confirms the current figure and any payment plans during application review, before you commit.

Can I take the modules as separate courses instead?+

Yes. Browse paths at /paths, or take Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Data Storytelling, Data Engineering, Cloud Data, Career Development, and more on the marketplace. The Specialist bundles the full path with coaching and a capstone.

What are the entry requirements?+

No fixed checklist — admissions reviews each application. We will tell you plainly if the program is a fit or suggest modular courses first.

When does the program start?+

Enrollment is ongoing. Apply anytime and admissions will share the next available start date.

Is this online or in-person?+

Hybrid — campus and live online for core training; the two-month capstone phase is remote.

What happens if I’m not selected?+

Start with modular courses or the free Upskillers platform (Talent Index, Atey tutor, skill tracking). We can reconsider you for a later intake.
