Fleet Services builds and runs Agoda's Kubernetes platform: 160+ clusters, plus the platforms on top of it (GitOps, DNS, certificates, load balancing, identity, and etcd). The team sits in Bangkok, Singapore and Australia. This hire is Bangkok-based and starts in Q1 2027. In this role you will: Design, build, and operate platform software in Go on Kubernetes. Own a part of the platform through delivery and production: controllers, automation, and GitOps. Work with InfraOps and the teams who run on the platform, so changes are safe to roll out and easy to use. At Senior: lead the design of a component, mentor other engineers, and carry production ownership without day-to-day direction. What You'll Need to Succeed: Production software engineering experience. At Senior, you have owned a service or platform component through design, delivery, and production, and you design the solution, not only implement it. Go, or a similar systems language you can be productive in quickly. Practical Kubernetes in production: workloads, APIs, and how a cluster behaves when something breaks. Linux, and the habit of testing what you ship. Enough observability to tell whether a change is healthy: metrics, logs, and alerts
